These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Word Junction. By accessing the web version or downloading the iOS app, you agree to these Terms.

Scope: web version vs. iOS app

Word Junction is available as a free web version (daily puzzle only, no account, no purchases) and as an iOS app (daily puzzle plus Levels, practice, a virtual coin/booster economy, and optional subscriptions). Sections below on accounts, virtual items, and subscriptions apply only to the iOS app unless stated otherwise — the web version has none of these features.

The App

The web version offers the daily puzzle only. The iOS app additionally includes practice puzzles and a level-based progression mode.

Accounts (iOS app only)

The iOS app uses anonymous sign-in by default — no account creation is required to play. You may optionally link an account (e.g. via iCloud or Game Center) to sync your progress across your own devices. You are responsible for any activity associated with your device/account. The web version has no accounts.

Virtual items — coins and boosters (iOS app only)

• Coins and boosters are virtual items usable only within the App.
• Coins and boosters have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person or account, or redeemed outside the App.
• Coins may be earned through gameplay or purchased via in-app purchase. All in-app purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's own terms and refund policies.
• We may adjust the rate at which coins are earned or the cost of boosters at any time, for balance or operational reasons.

Subscriptions (iOS app only)

If offered, the ad-free subscription auto-renews until cancelled and is billed through your Apple ID account, in line with Apple's standard subscription terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your device's Settings. There is no subscription on the web version.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, cheat, exploit, or interfere with the App's puzzle generation, scoring, or economy systems
• Use automated tools (bots/scripts) to play the App
• Harass other players or misuse any social/leaderboard features
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms.

Intellectual property

The App, including its name, design, puzzles, artwork, and underlying code, is owned by the developer and protected by copyright and other applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the App.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including loss of in-app progress, coins, or purchases.

Changes to the App or these Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App, and may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
